The Financials and Lenders
Before looking at properties, make sure you’re ready to go with your earnest money deposit and a preapproval letter if you plan on financing a home. Sit down with a lender and discuss your credit history, debt to income ratio, and get a good sense of how much you can afford in a monthly mortgage payment. The lender will then write up a preapproval letter we can submit with a solid offer that sellers can’t refuse. Our market is hot and it’s easy to miss out on the right property. We have the experience and track record to make your offer stand out in the crowd.
The Agents
Local property values, club memberships, water rights, nightly rental zones, fishing access, ski access, trail access, motorized trail access, management companies, inspectors, irrigation systems, ice dams, heat tape, appraisals, pot rock, H06 insurance, development rights, permitting, pet restrictions, multiple offers, strategic price negotiations, seller disclosures, title commitments, CC&R’s, home insurance, neighborhood amenities, local neighborhoods, new developments, contractors, builders . . .
Can you honestly say you know all of this? We do – and, if we don’t, we have resources to find out quickly. Using a buyer’s agent ensures that you are well represented in all areas of your purchase. Alex and Katie are experienced, dedicated buyer’s agents with the local knowledge to help you find and purchase the perfect property.
Having a buyer’s agent on your side is imperative when purchasing real estate. The last thing you want to do is go it alone or use the listing agent of the home you want to buy. You want your needs, finances, and negotiating strategies working for you, not the seller of any one particular property. Having a buyer’s agent means you have someone on your side working on your behalf for your terms and your price. Why would you do it any other way?
